Free Friday Night Concert
Music is great for the spirit, and it sounds even better when there is no change spilling out of your wallet! On Friday, October 9th, head over to the Gazebo in Centennial Park to partake in the Free Friday Night Concert featuring Al Fuller. Pack a picnic and blanket, and be there when the fun gets going at 7:00 pm.
Venice Farmer’s Market
The rest of the country may be starting to settle into their winter sweaters, but Venice is still happily showcasing amazing produce and interesting arts & crafts at the Venice Farmer’s Market. You are invited to meander through the stalls any Saturday morning from 8 until noon. You’ll find this fun on Tampa Avenue between Nokomis & Nausau Avenues in Historic Downtown Venice.
Children’s Halloween Parade
The town’s little ghosts and goblins are cute when they are trick-or-treating, but why not give them a special place to wander and haunt? On Friday, October 31st, Centennial Park will set the stage for a children’s parade filled with family-friendly entertainment. Gather at 4:00 pm to begin the walk through town, or settle on the side of the street to watch these little ones haunt around from 4:30 to 5:30 pm.
2015 Sun Fiesta
Florida’s snowbirds start to flock to the state around November, and this festival was created to embrace all things local before the community welcomes back its winter residents. Enjoy the arts, crafts, food, and fun from October 16th through the 18th at Centennial Park.
28th Annual Collector Car Show
Oldies are goodies, and when the Annual Car Collector Car Show rolls into town, there is nothing but good memories to be had all around. Stroll through the aisles as you reminisce about first dates, drive-in movies, or stories your dad told you when you were a little kid. The show is coming to Venice Sunday, October 4th from 8:00 am – 3:00 pm at Centennial Park, and it will be fueled with memories-in-the-making for visitors of all ages.
